Two exciting and newsworthy events in my photo life to share are:

1) My brand new website design went live this morning!  www.angelalang.com

2) A few days ago I placed first in the Wedding Photojournalist Association's international image contest!  My winning image is above.

This shot was taken at Michael and Angela's Petaluma wedding.  I was inspired by the bright yellow take-out boxes, and how the starving groom and groomsmen were eating before the formals session.  Rather than have them stop, I instead encouraged them to eat as much as they liked, and from there this hilarious moment grew to them feeding the groom.  Click on the image for a larger view.
